Narline Casimir joined the Association of Black Women Lawyers of New Jersey in 2015 and has served on the Executive Board since. During her three terms as Secretary, Ms. Casimir maintained accurate minutes of meetings and assisted with any other needs of the organization. She also spearheaded the planning of ABWL-NJ’s 2018 Retreat to Jamaica, West Indies, where CLE programs were held. As Treasurer for four terms, she faithfully fulfilled the requirements of the position by keeping detailed financial records and providing clear and concise financial reports to the membership. She also ensured that all financial obligations were met in a timely manner. As President-Elect, Ms. Casimir chaired the 2023 Scholarship Fundraiser Jazz Gala where 7 law students received $29,000.00 in academic scholarships.
Ms. Casimir currently works as an assistant prosecutor with the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office. Previously, she worked at the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office for over five years. She also serves on the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Criminal Practice. Ms. Casimir was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2013, the New York Bar in 2017, and obtained her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall Law School in 2013. After graduating from law school, she clerked for the Honorable Janetta D. Marbrey, J.S.C., Family Part, Mercer Vicinage.
